Bora Bora – Part II

Bora Bora Part I

Since the Le Meridien is located on a sandy motu, there are not as many fish as you might expect from a coral reef. However, personalized bobbleheads, I brought my fishing rod and jigs with me and ended up catching about 30 fish in four nights right from our balcony.

On one occasion, customize bobblehead, I hooked onto a perch and two sharks about 4-5 feet in length starting chasing it. Not having caught a shark in many years,Short Beach Wedding Dresses for Your Big Day, I let it take my perch and the shark was hooked. I tried hard to land the shark but the equipment I was using was just too light. Needless to say, personalized bobble heads,Classifieds February 5, 2015, the shark took my jig, customized bobbleheads, the perch, and snapped the line. It was still exciting though. The two larger jacks that I caught were released into the resort’s lagoonarium.

The Lagoonarium

The Le Meridien set-up the lagoonarium, customize bobblehead, located right in the center of the resort,Desserts!,personalized bobbleheads, to preserve and protect sea turtles. We snorkeled there twice and both times saw large fish and many sea turtles with some being over 400 hundred pounds.

The beach is quite nice and hammocks make it a great place to relax and take in the beautiful views.

The Beach at Le Meridian

The shape of the beach is like an isthmus with the lagoonarium on one side, personalized bobble heads, and Mt. Otemanu and the lagoon on the other. Snorkeling gear along with kayaks and canoes are provided free of charge.

There is even a stand right on the beach which sells food and drinks. However,Classifieds February 5, 2015,custom bobbleheads, the food at the resort was average, especially considering the prices which can run as high as $75 per person for dinner. This is not to say that it was of poor quality,,, but just not as tasty as I had anticipated. Bringing some alcohol, personalized bobblehead, snacks, and cup o’ noodles will prove beneficial to your wallet.

Bora Bora is the perfect place to do nothing and just absorb the paradise. However, custom bobblehead, I would recommend doing at least one activity per day. We rented a go-kart that look liked it came straight out of a Nintendo game. We cruised the main road of Bora Bora in the go-kart which had a top speed of 80 kph. It took about an hour to circle the entire main island.

The main island of Bora Bora and the town of Vaitape are not as striking and secluded as the motus. I would definitely recommend staying at a resort on a motu, personalized bobblehead. We shopped for pearls at Vaitape and also bought drinks and more noodles. We didn’,.;t have enough time to eat at Bloody Mary’,custom bobblehead;s, which many at our hotel said was enjoyable. We then returned to our resort by taking the shuttle boat which the hotels provide for their guests, custom bobbleheads.
